Youth Crime

Youth Crime

The crime committed by a child under 10 years of age doesn’t fall under the ambit of criminal responsibility in the UK and Wales. Hence, the police is not authorized to arrest or charge a child under 10 years. The punishments associated with a youth crime are different. However, the children between 10 to17 years of age could be arrested and taken to youth court for commission of a crime. In case of imprisonment, these young offenders are sent to a prison where juveniles are kept.

Our experienced solicitors have the knowledge and skills to defend the criminal cases against juveniles. In addition, we know the provisions of Youth Justice Systems prevailing in the UK and can defend the criminal accusations levelled against a juvenile.
